くうざん ひと を みず、

ただ きく じんご の ひびく を

また てらす せいたい の うへ

"Desolation

 

There was no sight of man in the immense mountain,

Yet human voices were continually being heard.

The sun reflects the distant scenes into the thick woods,

Forming patterns on the green moss."
